Danny was killed in an auto accident when the car he was riding struck a tree. Some say his half brother Orville was driving the car., although “Ortie” has denied it.358
Immediately following the accident Ortie said Dan had sliced a major vein in his leg and knew he was dying. Danny asked his brother “What do I do?” Ortie answered, “go to Christ brother.”119
