Misc. Notes
William and Mary’s son William’s middle name was “Atwood.” Was this also William, the father’s middle name?3
____________

William, born in Brady Township, Clearfield County, May 23, 1829, married a Miss Newell [sic] of Pike Township, the same county, where he owns a good farm and has reared a large family. (Other geneology lists her name as Mary Ann Bloom, married August 29, 1852)

No definitive record for William Lines was found. However, in the 1880 federal census, the following are listed as living in Bloom, Clearfield: William Lines, age 53, Mary Ann, age 43, and children Eli (21), Joseph (19), William (7), Lewis (5), Mark (1), Mary E (17), and Savetta (13).

Mary A. Newell, age 12, daughter of James and Matilda Newell of Ross, is listed in the 1850 census. So this could be the correct William Lines. Lines died August 29, 1898 in Bloom Township.

Most of the data on William and Mary’s children is confirmed at this source.508
