Misc. Notes
After graduation from Kent State in 1980, with the job market dismal in Ohio Jeff moved to vork in Virginia where other relatives were working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He figured getting a job working for the federal government would open the doors to moving on to NASA. So he went through the ship yards apprentiship program. His wife Shirley later learned there would be a local job fair with NASA there and encouraged her husband to attend. He took his resume, applied and was hired to work for NASA. He works and experiments with huge flying model airplanes.
Jeff has worked 31 years in government service [in 2016].
