Alfred had cancer and was drunk when he tied a nylon around his neck in his wife Shirley’s trailer in Hyde and hung himself. It’s not certain whether he actually meant to kill himself. (Shirley was Daniel’s aunt, his father, Robert Jackson Gisewhite’s, sister).51

Wilbur Lines Jr. (b. 1939) the compiler’s first cousin knew, and was friends with, a few of the Hull family and especially Alfred and his wife who he “knew well.” The wife recently [2010] passed away.33
