Obituary for Dawn Snair in the News Tribune February 20, 1979:
Dawn F. Snair, 56, of RD 2, Darlington, was dead on arrival Sunday at beaver Falls Unit of Medical Center of Beaver County. Born Feb. 18, 1923 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Charles F. and mary M. Kyser Snair. A life long resident of the area, he was employed as a machinist by Babcock & Wilcox Co., Tubular Products Division, Beaver Falls. He was a member of Chippewa Evangelical Free Church and served in the US Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Sandoe Snair; three daugthers, Mrs. Albert (Dawn) McGee, Zelienople; Mrs. Dale (Laura) Walker, Hoffman Estates, IL, and Mrs. Paul (Nancy) Mihalek, Carlinville, IL, three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Susie) Blinn, Chippewa Township, Mildred Pfeifer, Beaver, and Mrs. Ralph (Audrey) Compa, East Liverpool, Ohio and four grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by six brothers, Charles O., John D. Clarence O., Bert C., Gilbert and Kay W. Snair. Friends will be received all day today at Campbell's 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls.
SNAIR: Services for Dawn F. Snair, of RD 2, Darlington, will be 2pm Wednesday at Campbell's 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls, the Rev. Patrick J. Clinton, his pastor will officiate. Burial will be at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
