Rachel sister of the late Judge Leonard, of Clearfield, is still living [in 1897] with her son Zenas, on the old homestead, at the remarkable age of ninety years.

Mrs. Hartshorn is the oldest person in Pike township, and so far as known there are none in Clearfield county any older. She still is in possession of her faculties and can readily converse regarding occurrences of seventyfive, or even eighty years ago.
