Obituary

The Progress, Clearfield, Pa., Thursday, February 17, 1972

Mrs. Mabel Learish, 59, wife of Edward B. Learish, died Wednesday evening at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. She had resided at 412 Ogden Ave., Clearfield.

Mrs. Learish was born March 28, 1912, in Glen Richey, the daughter of Gainer and Mary Jane (Denton) Bloom.

She was a member of the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland, and the Willing Workers Sunday School class.

She is survived by her husband, Edward B. Learish: one daughter. Mrs. Emerson (Sheila) Shaw, Clearfield; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Gage, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; three brothers Enbriam Chester and Charles, all of Niagara Falls; and four grandchildren.

The Rev. John Halderman will officiate at funeral services Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home. Interment will be in, Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Viewing will be conducted at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and until the time of services Saturday.6550
