Curry Run was the scene of an accident involving a sled and an automobile. Ivan Curry, son of Wellington and Anne Curry, was killed while sled riding in Curry Run. The youth was sledding down the hill behind Zada Lines' home.... It seems the youth ran his sled into the path of a Model T Ford coming down the hill on the road and was killed. The body was taken into the hotel which was the Johnston residence at the time. Ken Johnston remembered the sound of the crash and the youth being brought into the home until the undertaker could come and retrieve the body.6964
