Dorothy J. Mays, 74, of Evergreen Manor died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 1986, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was born June 2, 1912, in Altoona, the daughter of Charles R. and Grace (Whitsel) Kensinger, and June 15, 1937, in Altoona, married John A. Mays, who died Sept. 30, 1957.
Surviving are two sons; John A. Jr. of Altoona and Charles K. of Perrysburg, Ohio; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mays was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the William G. Biglelow Funeral Home.
Services held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home by Rev. John Lee. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
