Sometime after 1832 a John Hill had a Woolen Mill on Filbert Street [Curwensville, PA] and this was one of the last to operate in this section. It was customary for the owner of the Factory to go about the country with his "Wool Wagon" trading finished cloth, blankets or yarn to the farmers for wool.1842
