Have quite a bit of information on the Bloom (Blum) family of Clearfield. I'm descended through Wilhelm Blum (or William Bloom) and Mary Mettler's son Peter, on two sides of the family on one side it's from Peter's first wife Mary King and on the other side it's his second wife, Mary Polly McElhatten. Recently came across some interesting details on the life of Wilhelm Blum - it's an interesting read, but too bulky to post. Let me know if you'd like a copy.

Peter Bloom was born on a farm two miles south of Curwensville, Pa., [?] and there he carried on farming, and weaving in later years. He married Mary King and they had eight children [?] born to them to whom they gave the following names: John, William, Rebecca, Martha, Margaret, Matilda, Archer and Joseph.3804
