I have seen a reference on ancestry.com world tree as Mary Polly's parents being William McElhatten (or McIlhatton) b. about 1746 Londonderry, Ireland and Jane. I have not looked further into that line yet, but you might want to try to contact the person who added that entry.1110

Have quite a bit of information on the Bloom (Blum) family of Clearfield. I'm descended through Wilhelm Blum (or William Bloom) and Mary Mettler's son Peter, on two sides of the family on one side it's from Peter's first wife Mary King and on the other side it's his second wife, Mary Polly McElhatten. Recently came across some interesting details on the life of Wilhelm Blum - it's an interesting read, but too bulky to post. Let me know if you'd like a copy.
