Lewis B. Lines
Curry Run - Lewis Britten Lines, 79 of Curry Run, Mahaffey R.D.2 died at the Clearfield Hospital at 7:10 am. Saturday.
He was born in Bloom Twp., Grampian R.. December 19, 1874 a son of the late William and Mary Ann Bloom Lines.
Mr. Lines is a member of the Curry Run Methodist Church and of the United Mine Workers of America, Local 7108.
Surviving are his wife the former Lois Hess; three children, Otis and Dayton both of Curry Run; Mrs. A.E. Jones, Evans City. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and one Brother Mark Lines of DuBois.
A son Alonzo, two sisters, four brothers and one grandchild preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held from the Lines home at Curry Run at 2 pm tomorrow with Rev. Paul R. Rowland, Methodist pastor officiating. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park near Clearfield. Friends may call at the Lines home until time of services tomorrow.542

Cpl. William Bertram Lines of Clearfield who is stationed at Fort Benning, GA and his cousins; Seaman First Class Donald Lines and second Class seaman Charles Lines, both of Norfolk VA, attended the funeral of their grandfather, Lewis B. Lines of Mahaffey RD2.543
